Dr. Andy Beer, DDS, FAGD

Dr. Andy Beer is a Central Illinois native. He was born in Iowa City, IA while his father was attending dental school. Two weeks after Dr. Beer, Sr. graduated, the family relocated to Bloomington, IL. Dr. Andy has one older sister and two younger brothers, all still living in the area. He graduated from Normal Community High School where he was a member of the Varsity Football team. He then graduated from the University of Iowa College of Business in 2008, then from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2012.

In 2012, Dr. Andy returned home after graduation and joined his father in his dental practice, Landmark Dental Group, P.C. He earned his Fellowship in Academy of General Dentistry during the Summer of 2017.

Dr. Andy and his wife Emily reside in Bloomington and are expecting their first child this summer. He enjoys restoring old cars and any building project that lets him use his hands.

Holly, Office Manager

Holly grew up in the Quad Cities on the Iowa side and completed three degrees at Iowa State University. She taught Home Economics in Iowa, worked in Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinic, and worked at the U.S. Post Office. She transferred to the Bloomington Post Office when she and her husband of 37 years moved to Bloomington. She stayed home for several years to raise their four children. She is the proud mom of a daughter and 3 sons.

She is an avid reader, gardener, loves to cook and bake, and is a pet-lover. She currently has a Charcoal Lab named Nimitz and a Chocolate Lab named Callie. She is extremely happy being a grandma, or “nana,” to her grandson Seth and granddaughter Abby. According to Holly, her favorite part of the job is “Seeing familiar faces over and over, and knowing that they have become part of our dental family”.

Angie

Angie has been a member of the Landmark Dental Team since January 2009. She values the relationships she has formed with her patients over the years. She appreciates the important role she plays in maintaining her patient’s dental health and beautiful smile. Angie looks forward to seeing her patients during their recall appointments. Outside of the office, she is raising four children, with her husband Josh. In addition to her four children, her family also includes a golden retriever and siamese cat. On her days off she is an active volunteer in her church and children’s schools. She and her family enjoy spending time together watching the Chicago Cubs and attending numerous concerts.

Cheryl, Dental Hygienist

My name is Cheryl and I have been with Landmark Dental since November of 2009. I have been married for 28 years to the love of my life, Vince. We have two great kids, Zac is 22 and is a U.S. Marine and Volunteer fireman. Sarah, 19, is a nanny and has a secret love for spiders. Our family has always raised and rescued many animal from cats and dogs, to squirrels and ducks. We love being outside, grilling and working out. We currently have two dogs, Sampson and Delilah, and five cats, Fazzo, Alex, Miss Momma, Lola and Runtz. I love being an Hygienist knowing I provide education and seeing patients leave with improved oral health.

Angela, Business Assistant

A native from central Illinois, Angela joined our team in August of 2015 with a background in both the clinical and administrative sides of dentistry. Attending Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois in 1990, she completed their dental assisting program and worked in various offices in four handed dentistry as well as oral surgery. Angela decided to further her education in 2000, attending Parkland College for the second time, earning her degree in medical science and went on to attend their surgical technology program. She comes to us with a strong knowledge of dentistry and a love and compassion for patients. In her downtime Angela is a busy wife and mother. She loves to spend time with her family playing board games, checking out the current movies with her husband and loves to play Canasta with her extended family. If asked what she enjoys the most about her job she would say most definitely sharing smiles and laughs with our awesome patients as well as her co-workers. If asked ow she would describe Dr. Andy and would reply, articulately skilled delivered with compassionate care.
